Another nice episode, this is probably my top anime this season for now, but obviously, you can't spell 'lost in space' without 'traitors' in it. And just when I start to think this is just pure survival anime without politic and stuff in it. Oh well...
Episode 1: Kanata shows a flashback in which he expresses he WANTS to be an athlete. But his teacher convinces him that he should explore space instead.
Episode 2: Kanata apparently was forced towards an athlete Job and actually wanted to explore space.
Seriously, make up your minds on what this character is... You can't just establish that he had a job in mind in Episode 1 and then pretend he hated the thought of it later on. Other than that... Really great story-telling so far.
Oh and you can also see they're not planning ahead when it comes to the two sisters back-stories too. Since they're both designed to look the same to convey they're related but then the back-story says she's ADOPTED. Like, come onnnn... Really? You had a regular sister vibe going on and you had to throw "ADOPTED" in there at the last second. Make a story-line and STICK WITH IT. ._.
Makes since the main characters grab the spotlight while the emo guy and the shy girl blend into the background. It's easy for people like that to be forgotten, so it's the perfect personality disguise for a traitor.
That was not the turn I was expecting. I'm liking this more and more and only episode 2. Also, that literal "ha ha ha" laugh was frightening. I was ready for her to turn evil. That type of laugh usually isn't a good sign. Oh, and their are probabl gonna blame dude in the skully.
