New Guy.... Good or Bad? :/
u/Lester11 · 2 months ago
I say he's both good and bad, and if anyone stand between his way he won't hesitate to kill
and he's got a batman to stop him Senku
u/Me3 · 2 months ago
That's still evil. Also, everyone forgets the far more common human alignment- neutral.
u/Lester11 · 2 months ago
don't be a hypocrite, when people did kill each other in the old world how that's not evil he's just following his instincts if Senku destoned every one the place would become hell murderers and rapists would walk freely and not to mention with current technology(no jails and no guns) no one will be able to stop them so no grownups in new world. Its that's simple
u/Me3 · 2 months ago
I don't think you know what hypocrite means.
u/Me3 · 2 months ago
Teens and kids fight and bully all the time some of them do it like it's their job. Neutral is human kind's natural state. It's hard to be good it takes forgiving someone who truly wronged you. Choosing justice over vengeance. Doing what's right even if you're hated for it. It's so much easier to be spiritually mild. Besides morally following the crowd is so much easier than following the straight and narrow or being selfish
u/Exerxes · 2 months ago
Being neutral means youre getting clubbed in the head by other people.
u/ZenonX · 2 months ago
Being Neutral and staying Neutral would be ideal but in my opinion no human can properly live in peace for so long. Like how they explained the adults in this episode, beginning would be peaceful and then they'll start fighting. Even just bringing the children back does not mean life would be peaceful later on...

Can't really say because of his valid point, but he is still killing a person.
u/ZenonX · 2 months ago
But he also saved the lady from under the rock... Not gonna deny what he said but saving students alone can cause problems too :< (like they're not mature and they'll make irrational decisions), as long as he doesn't force Senku to change minds Imma view new guy as good till then...

Next, is the calcium carbonate part. Calcium carbonate, CaCO3, is the substance that makes up limestone as well as the shells of mollusks like clams. It is used in agriculture to “blow away all the Hydrogen ions”, but CaCO3 is actually basic and bonds to the hydrogen ions (H+) making bicarbonate ions HCO3. This reduces soil acidity. However, just the soil being acidic isn’t the problem. Its soluble aluminum (Al).

First, Senku talks about lion meat and how it “reeks of ammonia.” This isn’t really true. I think he’s referring to the fact that rotten meat, cheese, and seafood have a breakdown of macromolecules such as proteins into ammonia. However, this lion obviously isn’t spoiling.
Based upon this article, lion really tastes like pork. Another thing to point out, is that Africans don’t eat wild animals like lions. They’re dangerous.

Third, sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), or soda ash, can be isolated from seaweed. I don’t know how. Apparently, by cooking Na2CO3 in a salt bat, it turns to NaOH, or lye. This NaOH reacts with triglycerides to form soap. Soap is just an ionic bond between a positive metal, like Sodium, and a long chained carboxylic acid. This is achieved through a reaction called saponification. . http://www.chem.latech.edu/~deddy/chem122m/L06U00Soap122.htm

I wonder what 4th use Senku was thinking!

My thoroughly under-educated guess would be Sodium Nitrate, a type of Saltpeter. Early gunpowder was Sulfur, Charcoal, and Saltpeter.

that was my guess as well

If most intelligent character says someone is evil, someone really is evil
u/Exerxes · 2 months ago
He don't thinks he's evil. He don't agree with his moral outlook.

Hi im gonna explain some of the science shown in this episode.
u/wbmarcus2000 · 2 months ago
Crops don’t grow well with soluble aluminum in the soil. Aluminum is soluble in acidic conditions and insoluble in basic conditions. So, when the CaCO3 removes H+ ions from the soil, making it basic, the Al becomes insoluble. So CaCO3 isn’t really blowing away H+ ions as much as it is blowing away Al ions.

The mortar part is completely correct. When limestone is heated, it forms quicklime, CaO. When water is added to quicklime, it forms lime, CaOH. When lime is made with sand or other silica material, it forms a cement!

Adults especially babyboomers have ruined our world and in making us in our early twenties and our offspring into corporate slaves with no culture, heritage or freedom. Their stone age time is the most free life they can live.
